1 Spray bottle (empty)
Ammonia
Water
Rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl alcohol)
Funnel
Container to mix ingredients
NOTE: You can adjust the amounts below to fit your spray bottle - the important thing is the ratio is 1-1-1. The amounts listed below fill the small spray bottle we use.
Steps: In an empty container mix: 1/2 cup of water 1/2 cup of ammonia 1/2 cup Isopropyl alcohol
Mix thoroughly and add to the spray bottle using the funnel.
You are done!
Works best when using LINT FREE rags or even better: old newspaper. Your windows and glass will be clean and streak free. It's also a hell of lot cheaper than Windex!
...that is all.

White vinegar is the best glass cleaner there is. It will also kill mold and mildew, and can be used as a degreaser.
ReplyDeleteI second the comment about using white vinegar! It works great. And no harmful fumes, either! :)
