Some Excellent Gardening Resources

By Flea - Be A Survivor

Stephanie sent me some useful links to share:

I thought I'd pass along these useful gardening sites.

To know what to do when in the garden - from starting seeds to setting out plants, both spring and fall gardens:
http://www.chestnut-sw.com/growform.htm

This is a list of guides for growing vegetables in Arkansas. I know that most of your readers do not live in Arkansas but the general information - soil, sun and water are the same. Combined with the garden calculator page above most things should be covered.
http://www.arhomeandgarden.org/fruits_nuts_vegs/Vegetables/publications.htm
Other states have their own info so a quick search using extension+vegetable+guides+state needed should bring what is needed.

For canning information:

Hope this is helpful,
Stephanie in AR
