People Will Never Learn...

So much for people crying poverty. The sales figures for Black Friday are in (preliminary) and spending was UP 3% from last year. I just want to vomit in my hat to be honest.

People crying and bitching they can't afford shoes for their kids who have to walk to school both ways up hill...standing in line to buy the discount 50" LCD TV from Best Buy. What a joke.

I went to Wally World to do food shopping and people were packing their carts full of toys and electronics. People are lemmings pure and simple, and they will camp out to buy the lastest iPhone from Steve "Hand"Jobs and then bitch they can't afford to fill the tank on their Hummer. Honestly other than that I don't know what to say...

...that is all.

  5. Steve "Hand"Jobs - too funny.

Next christmas may be quite different. People are still in disbelief. Many still think this is just a blip and the value of their home will rise another 20% next year so they can take out a line of credit and buy another SUV.

Still just a little too early for the full effect from what is happening.

  6. I agree with one of the comments above, in that they will willingly trade off items not needed for next to nothing. And unless they got tools I won't be interested.

  7. It is true we are a consumer driven economy, so these sheep running up their CC debt keeps us afloat all that much longer and gives us more time to prep.
